WE NEED YOU!
There are many ways to get involved – take the lead on a project, pitch in for a couple of hours, and/or share your time and talents. Contact your PTSA Leadership Team for more information: firstname.lastname@example.org.
In order for the PTSA to give funds to students, teachers, and support programs, we must have a board. We have several open positions for the 2022-2023 school year. The open positions are listed on the board members page as well.
Open positions include:
Work with the Chief Sealth Community to distribute information about volunteering opportunities on various projects, both ongoing and up-coming.
Teachers and staff may request volunteers for a specific event, and the PTSA has ongoing projects that may need coordination (i.e. The “Clothing Bank”, Teacher Appreciation events, etc.)
Volunteers needed for upcoming events – Check the School Calendar to see events.
Auction Chairs to Represent Athletics and PTSA
Details about the upcoming year's fundraising including a potential auction or other events could be decided by you! Interested? Please send an email to the PTSA: email@example.com.
This person will maintain and market our current non-auction fundraising activities, as well as research new ways to raise funds. Currently, we have an “Amazon Associates” account.
Keep up with, and advise the PTSA membership of, local, state, and federal legislative actions that impact the Chief Sealth community (ie: the McCleary Act and its consequences).
While PTSAs cannot endorse specific candidates during elections they can advise their membership on which new laws are supported or not supported by the State and National PTA organizations.
This person would also attend the WA State PTA legislative session.
Coordinate with Chief Sealth staff for student involvement in this National PTA arts program.
We are so grateful for the support of our Chief Sealth International community. Contact teachers directly for other ways you can help. Thank you for your support of our students and staff at CSIHS. Go Seahawks!
