There are many ways to get involved – take the lead on something or just pitch in for an hour or two.  There are lots of opportunities for anyone who has time or talent to share!

Current PTSA Opportunities

Greater Giving coordinator:  Learns the Greater Giving software that we use for the auction, PTSA membership, and other fundraising efforts.  Trains others and assures the software is used to it’s best potential.

E-scrip coordinator:  Keeps our account up-to-date and reminds community members to sign up or renew their Safeway cards!

Co-Secretary:  The secretary job is simply providing a short written summary of the topics discussed at the PTSA Leadership Meetings and the General Meetings. The time involvement is attendance at monthly leadership meetings (approx. 1.5 hours each) and 3-4 general meetings per school year (also approx.. 1.5 hrs each). The position is perfect for sharing with another person.

Reflections coordinator:  Coordinate with Chief Sealth staff for student involvement in this National PTA arts program.  For additional information, Please reply to Fionnuala O’Sullivan,  PTSA Volunteer Coordinator

College Preparation/Readiness:  coordinate with Counseling Staff and work to organize/coordinate college-related guidance for  students and parents (includes arranging for Princeton Review Assessment, Paying for College workshops, etc.).  There is a wealth of info and resources already available, someone needs to shepherd it along next year!

  • Graduation is Wednesday, June 12, 2013 @ 7:30pm. Volunteers needed for Grad Night set-up and chaperoning throughout the evening until the wee hours!
