College Prep: Princeton Review Assessment in January

The Princeton Review Assessment (PRA) was created to help decide which test will allow your student to shine: the ACT or the SAT.  Join us in January to get answers to your questions about  both tests, and learn strategies for taking them.

WHAT:

The Princeton Review Assessment (PRA) is a two-part program:

1: Diagnostic, “Mock” Test (Students only)

  • Provides an opportunity to become familiar with both the SAT & ACT – this test is half SAT and half ACT in one sitting
  • Provides preliminary indication of whether you may do better on one test or the other
  • Juniors, sophmores and freshmen are invited

2: Scores Back Strategy Session (Students and Parents/Guardians)

  • The student receives a detailed score report showing strengths/weaknesses
  • The report shows the correct answer to every test question (keep your test booklet!)
  • Students are provided strategies and techniques that can be applied on the official ACT or SAT
WHEN:

  • Saturday, January 12, 8:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.: Diagnostic test (students only) Chief Sealth Galleria.  TESTING BEGINS AT 9:00 AM
  • Thursday, January 31, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.: Scores Back Strategy Session (students & parents welcome) Chief Sealth Library
HOW:

Students can register in the CSIHS Counseling Office or online at: https://csptsa.ejoinme.org/PrincetonAssessment2013
